At Via Brasil Steakhouse the health and wellbeing of each and every one of our employees and guests has always been our top priority. It is with these concerns that we had crafted and implemented our Safety, Sanitation and Hygiene Guidelines and followed them religiously since the day we opened in 2008.

But as we know these are extraordinary times and require extra diligence and the addition of extra layers of safety and sanitation be implemented for everyone's security. As we begin to transition back to normalcy it is important that we follow the safest possible sanitary guidelines.

We make this promise to each and every Guest of Via Brasil Steakhouse, a Promise to provide the safest possible dining experience we can. a promise to Always do our best and follow the additional safety standards we outline below. and to ensure our guests, employees and communities safety in these uncertain times.

Guidelines for our Employees

  • All Employees are screened on arrival.
  • Employees temperatures are taken with a non-contact thermometer
  • All employees must immediately and thoroughly wash their hands upon entering the building
  • All our employees have been informed that they must call ahead if they are showing any symptoms for any illness whatsoever, and that they will not be able to work until they have been cleared by a doctor to return.

Guidelines for our Guests

  • Our Hostesses will be greeting all guests at the door and taking each guests temperatures with a non-contact thermometer
  • All guests will be given hand sanitizer upon entering the building and then immediately escorted to their tables.
  • For All our Guests and Employees safety we will not be able serve any guests exhibiting a temperature or showing any signs of illness, including coughing or any flu-like symptoms. We do appreciate your loyal patronage and hope to see you back safely soon. Until then we are now providing Contactless Delivery to the surrounding community. Social Distancing will be a big part of how we control the spread of Covid-19 as we begin to come back and have listed some additional measures we are taking in this regard. Additionally As part of our social distancing efforts we are committed to a no-wait policy for our guests once they have checked in, but the checkin process may require additional time. We ask for your patience and that all our guests assist us by adhering to these guidleines.

  • As we touched on already Via Brasil Steakhouse is implementing a no wait policy to ensure that guests are able to social distance properly. Therefore all guests will be seated immediately upon checking-in including partially arrived groups. Late arriving guests may join their party when they arrive.
  • As we know that the warm weather is a deterrent to the spread of Covid-19, we are asking guests as they do arrive to begin social distancing outside until they are able to be checked in and seated by our hostess.
  • Alternatively Guests may also call to check-in and wait in their car until we are able to get them seated if they choose to as well.
  • Only one reservation at a time will be allowed to occupy the front desk before being taken to their table.
  • As our hostess seats reservations we will be following path to the table that allows seated guests and arriving guests to keep a safe distance while dining.
  • In the Dining room, patio and bar area all tables will be measured a minimum of 6 feet apart allowing for guests to practice social distancing.
  • Bathrooms will be monitored by a bathroom attendant who will allow a maximum of one guest plus family member to enter each bathroom at a time, while another guest plus family member may occupy the waiting area until a bathroom is available and has been properly sanitized.
  • Alternatively approved exits may be used for guests to social distance guests entering and exiting
  • We are committed to ensuring all our employees understand the virus, how it is transmitted and how they can protect themselves and our guests.
  • We want to ensure all our guests safety and provide a comfortable stress free dining experience and know that this requires extra diligence on our part
  • Employees will receive daily training during pre-shift meetings.
  • Training will address what is required of each employee, sanitation practices, social distancing guidelines,
  • As new information comes available our employee will be immediately informed and kept up to date with any changes that must be made in regards to sanitation practices, policies or procedures.
  • daily checklists for safety, sanitation and hygiene will be completed by each employee
  • Distribution of Protective Wear for All Employees to follow CDC recommendations. This will include All Food Handlers wearing clean gloves and masks at all times during preparation of food.
  • Additional staff will be on hand to assist in the continuous cleaning of all doors, windows and surfaces throughout the restaurant.
  • All Tables and Chairs will be immediately wiped down and sanitized after each guest departs.
  • After which each table will be left bare until new guests are seated.
  • All Tables will receive single use disposable menus upon arrival.
  • Condiments will be available upon request, but not readily available on each table.
  • All guests will receive a clean set of silverware rolled up in a napkin upon arrival and glassware along with their choice of beverage.
